Before Inquiring for new service

Our maintenance route covers the Greater Sarasota area including the city of Sarasota, Siesta Key, and Casey Key. Unfortunately, at this time we do not accept new accounts located outside our current service area that do not require at least half a days work per week.

Our installation and renovation work extends beyond our maintenance service area and we are willing to travel just about anywhere depending on the size of the job.

Based on the type of work we specialize in, our current minimum for monthly service is $300 a month. Depending on the size, location, and conditions of the property, monthly minimums will be adjusted accordingly. All new service accounts need to fall within our service area to qualify.

Each property offers it's own set of requirements. Therefore, each contract is figured based on those unique requirements. We analyze each property, noting how long it will take to accomplish the weekly requirements, how much debris will be required to haul away weekly, and what any extra costs for regular additional work. We then take that number and multiply it by 50 (weeks in our year) then divide it by twelve. Monthly fees incorporate our standard contractual duties, hauling of debris created by the contractual duties, fuel charges, and any extra needs listed in the contract.

For maintenance contract work,invoices are sent at the beginning of every month with payment due by the fifteenth of every month.

For installation contract work, payments of the Contract Price shall be paid in the following manner: 50% due within 3 days of signature of Contract to cover material costs. The remaining 50% due within 5 days after submission of Invoice to Owner upon completion of Contract, interest to accrue monthly at 1.5% thereafter. In the event of material costs exceeding the initial down payment, a supplemental payment may be required to cover these costs in affect lowering the cost of the final payment due at completion.

For other billable work, payment will be due at time of submission of invoice.

Cancellation of maintenance service must be made in writing prior to the first of the month.

Our warranties only apply to installations where a warranty plan has been included in the installation price. This warranty is as follows:

(a) Trees and Palms
Contractor will offer one-time only replacement of any newly planted tree, or newly planted palm that has died within six (6) months from the date of installation provided there is an automatic irrigation system installed and the tree or palm has been cared for as instructed, and not misused. Contractor will not replace trees or palms killed by over/under watering, fungus, chemicals, pedestrian or vehicular traffic, animals, rodents, insects, mechanical damage, neglect, Acts of God or other reasons over which Contractor has no control. Contractor will not warranty any trees or palms that are relocated or otherwise not purchased by contractor. An additional labor charge for tree or palm removal and re-installation will apply.

(b) Plants and Shrubs
Contractor will offer one-time only replacement of any newly planted plant or shrub that has died within ninety (90) days provided there is an automatic irrigation system installed and the plant or shrub has been cared for as instructed, and not misused. Contractor will not replace plants or shrubs killed by over/under watering, fungus, chemicals, pedestrian or vehicular traffic, animals, rodents, insects, mechanical damage, neglect, Acts of God or other reasons over which Contractor has no control. An additional labor charge for plant or shrub removal and reinstallation will apply. This warranty does not cover annuals, small perennials, ground covers, wildflowers, seeds, bulbs, roses and non-winter hardy plants. Contractor will not warranty any plants or shrubs that are relocated or otherwise not purchased by contractor.

(c) Turf
Contractor installs turf grass according to common industry practices, using quality sod. It is the responsibility of the Owner to ensure that rough grades have been established according to municipal drainage plans and within plus / minus one-tenth of one foot of finished grade and clear of debris. Once sodded, the Contractor has no control over weather, watering or other cultural practices of General Contractor and/or property owner. Therefore Contractor cannot guarantee the general success of rooting. Repairs done on a sodding project are done at the expense of Owner.

(d) General
Any repairs/replacements made to any installation after expiration of the warranty will be made at Owner’s expense. Any repairs made to any installation by any party other than Contractor voids any warranties offered by Contractor. Contractor offers no refunds on purchased materials. Replacements and/or exchanges will be made with plants of the original size and quality as previously specified.

Current written contract policies supersede online policies.

General

Contractor will make reasonable efforts to complete the Contract as designed. Circumstances may arise beyond the control of the Contractor that may prevent execution of the Contract exactly as planned. Contractor will make reasonable efforts to minimize this impact on the design and construction. Owner acknowledges this possibility and accepts the action Contractor will take to minimize the potential change in design. Any alteration or deviation from the Contract specifications, including but not limited to any such alteration or deviation involving additional time, cost, or neither, will be executed only upon written order for same, signed by Owner and Contractor, using a Change Order Form. If there is any charge for such alteration or deviation, the additional charge will be added to the contract price of this Contract. If there are any credits due to written change orders or alterations agreed by Owner and Contractor, such credits will be applied to Contract price. Each change made by Owner during installation will result in a processing fee, in addition to any additional charges for materials or labor that are incurred by Contractor as a result of the change. The processing fee will apply regardless of the impact of the change on labor or material costs.
